Roy A. Billett and Douglas MacArthur Powell enlisted in the Marine Corps and were sent to the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego California. Billett is a 1961 Middletown High School graduate and son of Mr and Mrs Dale Billett of Germantown Road. Powell, also a Middletown High alumnus, is the son of Mrs Emma Powell of Manchester Avenue.
