Free basketball clinic to be held during July

Darrell Hedric, Miami University coach, will join a free July basketball clinic in South Park for youths 11 to 16. The Volunteer Probation Aid program sponsors sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 30 to 7 30 pm starting July 5, with registration that day. Prizes will honor most improved and top shooters.

Butler County Noon Meals for Seniors at Murchison Chapel

The Butler County Council on Aging sponsors a no charge noon meal program for those over 60 at Murchison Chapel 611 S Main St. Reservations are required. Menu for the week includes cube steak and more with fruit and dessert daily. Volunteers note donations welcomed.
