Jail blaze kills 34 inmates and 8 visitors in Tennessee
A 16 year old inmate started a foam padded cell fire at Maury County Jail in Columbia Tennessee killing 34 inmates and eight visitors and injuring many others. Authorities say toxic fumes spread through ducts. a deputy sheriff fumbled keys delaying evacuations for about twelve minutes. The suspect Andy Zinmer faces an arson charge and adult trial request while missing records place him previously at Lad Lake Wisconsin.
