Rouxcolor Aims to Bring Real Life Color to Movies
Paris officials report a new method Rouxcolor by Armand and Lucien Roux could provide life color in films. The system uses a spectrum lens on camera and projector, with ordinary black and white film, and relies on 17 years of development and a specialized 40-prism lens. The Roux brothers worked from a shabby Left Bank lab after hiding the design during the war.
