Middletown Resident Finds Hidden Adena Burial Mound
A Middletown resident discovers about two thirds of a six foot high Adena burial mound in a backyard with the rest in a neighboring yard. The site lies on a village area now lawned and privately owned, with no prior state or regional records noting its existence. The owner plans to restore the mound to its historic condition.
