Tweetie the sparrow home again after cat adventure
The rescued song sparrow Tweetie returns to the Stoutenborough home at 107 Sierra Road after a five week ordeal. Once cared for with hamburger and milk bread drops, the tame bird eluded a cat and later a dog, then perched on children’s fingers before resuming seed and nourishment in its cage. The owners worry how to teach Tweetie to sing in a once-relatives-less environment.
