Ousted General Lavelle to Testify in House Probe
Gen John D Lavelle is to testify before a House subcommittee on his dismissal as commander of U S Air Force units in Vietnam. Rep Otis G Pike says Lavelle was ousted for allegedly permitting unauthorized bombing in North Vietnam prior to Nixon's April decision to resume large scale bombing. Lavelle has not commented.
