The Warren County Society for Crippled Children will sponsor speech classes from June 13 to August 5 led by speech therapist Michele Ross. Initial screenings are scheduled June 13 at Springboro High School, June 14 at Morrow Elementary, and June 15 at South Lebanon Elementary from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Open to any Warren County school age child.

Shawnee Board Adopts Raises as Federal Funds Fund Camps
Camden Preble Shawnee school board approved a salary schedule boosting teacher pay by 50 dollars. Elementary and Secondary School Act funds fund a $15,047.33 summer remedial reading program and a $4,106.00 pre school program for grades two to six and pre school entrants. Title II funds of $3,935.36 buy library and instructional materials. Programs run June 2 to July 29 with sessions from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. or 8:30 to 9:50 a.m. and 10:10 to 11:30 a.m. Vacancies remain for the next school year.
