ABA Study Proposes Flexible Verdict Rules for Juries
The American Bar Association commission suggests not all trials require a unanimous verdict and proposes six to twelve member juries with three fourths approval for larger juries. Unanimity would remain for all verdicts in most cases and six person juries would need unanimity.
