Statues Line Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City
A line of 36 life size bronze statues along Paseo de la Reforma in central Mexico City honors heroes of Mexico's reform war and French intervention. Sculpted by seven artists, they face traffic across the street, half of them military figures and none of the figures are women.
