Democrats Seek Seats on Ohio Supreme Court
In Columbus Ohio a three candidate Democratic field forms for one of two seats on the Ohio Supreme Court. Robert Cook Cuya County Juvenile Court Judge John Corrigan and William Sweeney compete in the June 8 primary to challenge Republican nominee for the open seat of retiring Justice J J P Corrigan. Cook is a Ravenna resident and former Portage County prosecutor with prior House service. Corrigan has two terms as Cuyahoga County juvenile judge and two terms in the Ohio House. Sweeney, a Cincinnati attorney, has not held office but runs on a law focused practice and previously sought secretary of state and governor nominations.
