Dayton officials could face federal charges
Dayton law director James W. Drake says city officials implicated by evidence in a civil service investigation could face federal conspiracy charges. He adds the Justice Department may pursue civil rights violations, but the city will not press criminal charges itself. City Manager Alloway plans to meet with Justice officials to review the information and determine if officials would exonerate themselves.
