Travel Experts Optimistic On U S Tourism Rise
Experts from the U S Travel Data Center and AAA say domestic travel is rebounding after a slow start. The Travel Data Center cites 109 million pleasure travelers last year and National Park visits rising about 4.5 percent in 1976. Bus and air travel show notable gains through the year, with air miles up 6 percent and Amtrak up 3 percent in early 1977.
