Verity parents question board decision to use Monroe site

Middletown City Schools officials met with about 75 Verity Middle School parents and students to explain the short term move of Verity students to Monroe High School while new elementary schools are built. Superintendent Price said the decision was necessary and would involve the community, though some parents criticized the choice. Verity sports will practice at Johns Road campus and later move to Monroe. McKinley and Wilson elementaries will be renamed to reflect Verity affiliation while preserving school identities.
