State Condemns 80 Year Old Ohio Lawrence County School
The 80 year old Chesapeake school in Lawrence County Ohio is condemned as a fire trap. State Industrial Relations Director William J. Rogers said the action should draw attention to poor schooling conditions in Southeastern Ohio and is seeking temporary relief funds to rent or erect buildings. Governor Herbert called the building a fire trap and said the second floor is held by four by eight timbers.
