Fire Damages Gallo way Hall at Central State University
Arson investigators combed the damaged basement of Galloway Hall on the Central State University campus after a Friday night fire caused about 4000 dollars in damage. Investigators from the arson division of the State Fire Marshal’s office spent Saturday on the scene amid reports a gasoline can was found in the basement. Fire Chief James E. Moore cautioned against assuming arson but said it does not look good. Nearby Wilberforce University faced student protests over grievances as talks with administrators continue following a campus fire last week and a mass student walkout.
