All Night Party Ends In Slaying Wife Charged
A 23 year old Middletown waitress Loretta Page was charged with first degree manslaughter for the pistol slaying of her estranged husband Leon Page at their Philadelphia Avenue apartment around 5 am. A witness quoted her saying if I had a gun I would kill you. The couple hosted an all night party with several guests. Page allegedly fired a .22 caliber pistol into his chest after he accused her of infidelity. Page died at Middletown Hospital minutes after arrival. Arrangements are pending at McCoy Leffler Funeral Home.
