Two Drivers Grounded By Judge In Municipal Court
Two drivers received suspensions after Middletown Municipal Court convictions. Ronald D. Maupin 23 of 606 Highland St. was fined 30 dollars and costs for an assured clear distance violation tied to a January 2 accident on Woodlawn Avenue. Thomas Darrell Poff of 1609 Vail Ave. faces a six month driving ban for unsafe operation, plus a 50 dollar fine and costs. Boys Quizzed in Parents Murder in Granville Area
In Licking County near Granville Ohio sheriff says two brothers Danny Leasure 15 and Herman David 17 are being questioned as no charges are filed. Bodies of Herman Leasure 45 and his wife Jean were found after a call reporting two shots. A small caliber firearm likely used and four rifles were sent for ballistics tests. Neighbors call the family quiet and shocked by the slaying.
