Arraignment Set in Rockford Slayings Amid Divorce Dispute

Dr Simon Peter Nelson, 46, was to be arraigned on six counts of murder after police found his wife Ann Nelson 28 and their five to fourteen year old children bludgeoned and stabbed in their Rockford home. Investigators say the slayings occurred while the family slept amid a troubled marriage and divorce dispute.

Break in slayings linked to western Pennsylvania case

Police in Baden, Pennsylvania report a break in the weekend shotgun slaying of a Beaver County man and link the case to three similar killings in the area.
