French wine production dips by 28 percent in 1977

PARIS AP France's wine production for 1977 was the lowest in eight years, dipping 28 percent from 1976. The Finance Ministry said vintners produced about 135 million gallons of wine in 1977, reflecting a sharp decline in output.
