No Free Dumping Denied by Butler County Officials
Hamilton Edgewood School Supt Maurice Ittel sought free use of the Butler County sanitary landfill on Woodsdale Road, citing tax revenue loss from removing Edgewood from the tax duplicate. Commissioners said the landfill is self supporting and free use would require equal treatment for all agencies. Also, commissions certified referendum petitions from Union Township residents opposing rezoning of U S 42 at Dimmick Road in Pisgah for a shopping center, to appear on November ballot. Forrest Spears claimed local property owners face discrimination due to delayed certification.
