Americans used less electricity natural gas and heating oil in December due to energy conservation and milder early winter weather. Nation to shift clocks for year round daylight saving time
Clocks nationwide will move ahead one hour this Sunday as the United States adopts year round Daylight Saving Time to save energy. The change takes effect at 2 a.m. local time and will last through October 1975, with exemptions for Hawaii, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and most of Indiana. The Mountain Time Zone in Idaho, Oregon and Arizona is exempted, and Kentucky gains inclusion in the central time zone except for 12 northeastern counties.

Humphrey Hospitalized for Follow Up on Bladder Tumor

Watergate Burglar Barker Freed Cites Cold Exposure
