Mrs. Sadie Florence, 64, of Middletown Route 1, was critically injured when her car was struck by a northbound B-7 train at the Big Four crossing on Oxford Road at 10 am. Eyewitness James Davis described the impact throwing her from the car. she suffers a fractured skull, fractures of both legs, a fractured shoulder, and a severe scalp cut. She was transported to Middletown Hospital by Baker's ambulance.
