AFL-CIO leaders polls show Hubert Humphrey leading in Atlanta Dallas Cincinnati and Florida with Muskie close behind and Jackson third in most sites Nixon under 1 percent. Meany had said Humphrey had little chance of endorsement before the July convention. Michigan moves to hold a May 16 presidential primary, Milliken endorses, Texas absent. Muskie Jackson Wallace Yorty also active in campaigns with Florida trip and Ohio ballot efforts noted.
