Weiland coached Harvard 21 seasons and played 11 NHL seasons. he led the Bruins to a Stanley Cup during 1940s.
New York AP The Yankees revealed four youth gift days for this season. Cap day is set for April 9 against Baltimore, Ball day May 27 versus Detroit, that day June 18 against Dallas Fort Worth, tee shirt day July 19 against Minnesota, and Oldtimers day July 22 with California Angels in town.
The Fourth Annual Walter Smoky Alston Skeet Shoot starts at 10 a.m. at Middletown Sportsmen's Club with 50 to 60 shooters expected.
