Election expense report gaps loom for Butler and Warren races
Officials in Butler and Warren counties report only a few candidates failed the Friday 4 p.m. deadline to file campaign expense reports. Butler cites six delinquents from outside Middletown Trenton Monroe area townships, while Warren records eight nonfilers including Carlisle council hopefuls and others from Miamisburg Lebanon Clearcreek Township. State law fines and possible disqualification apply to noncompliant candidates and their committees, with a five year ineligibility for those who skip reporting.
