Eleven year old Stephen Baltz lies in critical condition after Friday’s United Airlines DC8 crash in Brooklyn. Doctors report severe burns and a possible internal injury but say he has a good chance at recovery. Stephen, from Wilmette Illinois, was traveling alone to visit his mother and sister.

US Air Force Plane Crashes in Munich

A Convair from the 3rd Air Force crashed in downtown Munich four minutes after takeoff from Munich Airport killing many and injuring others. Witnesses and police reported a streetcar jam and debris in a busy pre Christmas area near St. Paul’s church. The aircraft carried 20 people including crew. no survivors were confirmed.

Hunter Dies In Crossfire In Ohio Deer Hunt

Francis Price, 46, of Mount Blanchard, Hancock County, was killed near Upper Sandusky when a shotgun blast amid a deer hunt caused fatal wounds above the right eye. He hunted with nine men from Upper Sandusky and Carey three miles north of town at the Foster Kuenzit farm. Deputies said multiple hunters fired at a deer simultaneously and it is unclear who fired the fatal shot.

Police found Walter Rogers Jr. a 31 year old man dead in his overturned car beneath a bridge on U S 52. He had not returned to his New Richmond home after work Thursday night.

A UAS DC8 with unknown crew and 11 miles from Chicago crashed on a unknown slope in Brooklyn. A TWA plane carrying 44 aboard from Dayton and Columbus Ohio landed in flames at Miller Army Air Field on Staten Island.

Jet crash injures church pillar and missing caretaker

The wreckage struck Pillar of Fire Church and destroyed the building. The caretaker is missing. It marks a historic pure jet airliner crash with passengers in America.
