Google to scan major libraries for online reading room
Google plans to scan and index books from five major libraries including New York Public, Harvard, Stanford, Michigan, and Oxford to create a vast online reading room. Michigan and Stanford agreed to submit all material. Oxford wants pre 1901 works. NYPL and Harvard limit scope.
