US to spend 4.1 billion on vehicle armor upgrade

Senior officers briefed in Washington on Wednesday as the Pentagon confirms 4.1 billion for armor upgrades. Ohio Supreme Court refuses class action in OxyContin suit

In a split decision the Ohio Supreme Court denied class action status for more than 1,000 Ohio claimants against Purdue Pharma and Abbott Laboratories over OxyContin. The ruling overturns a 2002 Butler County ruling, forcing individuals to pursue separate lawsuits and likely increasing court workloads.
