Grand Jury Ups Holder Charge To First Degree
The Butler County Grand Jury indicted Richard Holder Jr. for first degree murder in the Nov. 7 fatal shooting of his wife Eloise in Middletown. Holder, free on a $50,000 property bond, had earlier faced second degree murder charges. The grand jury also returned 28 other indictments, naming 24 defendants from Middletown and the county, including charges of burglary, neglect to provide for children, and DUI.
