Girl on long road back from swimming injury
A 16 year old Middletown girl Katherine Stephens survived a neck spine injury after striking her head in a July 16 swimming accident at a gravel pit. She remains hospitalized at Good Samaritan Hospital Cincinnati undergoing rehabilitation. Her mother Charlene Stephens says doctors see progress as Katherine learns to move her feet and feed herself with her left hand.
