Revised Middletown Airport Plans Forwarded to CAA
Middletown Airport expansion plans were sent to Columbus for final Civil Aeronautics Authority approval. City engineer R A Pochel said preliminary approval already exists and the change narrows runways from 500 to 300 feet under new CAA rules, saving about 30000 dollars on an estimated 180000 project and reducing grading by 75 cubic yards before further review in Chicago and Washington.
