Red Cross plans largest Darfur airlift as talks falter
Al-Fasher Sudan The International Committee of the Red Cross announced a major airlift of relief supplies to Darfur, the largest since the Iraq war. Interior Minister Abdel-Rahim Hussein said peace talks opened in Abuja were marred by two attacks by the Sudanese Liberation Army, despite the government’s commitment to negotiation.
