William Elkins 26 of 2208 Whittier St. remained in Middletown Hospital in critical condition after his head was caught between two eight inch apart rollers on No 1 paper making machine at Sorg No 1 mill downtown. He was a long time employee since 1968 and the exact cause was under investigation. Emergency Squad arrived at 1 24 am to find him bleeding from the mouth.
