Free Ohio River ferry to run at Point Pleasant
Gov. Rockefeller said West Virginia will operate a free 24 hour ferry across the Ohio River at Point Pleasant until bridge repairs are completed. He ordered the ferry in by mid next week as defects found in an inspection require the highway closure for five to six weeks more.
