Drug tied teen heroin case hits Roxbury store shooting
An 11 year old boy in poor condition and a 15 year old in critical condition were wounded in a Roxbury variety store shootout staged as a robbery to fund heroin. A third youth was arrested at Boston City Hospital. a fourth with a $40 a day heroin habit is at large. Police cited needle tracks and admitted heroin use as they sought to determine which weapon fired the bullets. Names of the youths were not released.
