Remains of Marine killed in Vietnam coming home to Texas
The remains of Marine 2nd Lt. Donald John Matocha of Smithville, missing since an April 1968 firefight on Dong Ma mountain, are headed to Texas. After the Defense Department had largely given up by 1993, a Vietnamese farmer who led the 320th Division's squad in Hanoi in 1996 revealed he found an American dead on Dong Ma mountain in spring 1968.
