Reservists' Petition Denied by Federal Judge
A federal judge in Baltimore denied 113 Ohio Army Reservists' request to be released from active duty. In a 14 page ruling Judge Frank A Kaufman held the President could call reservists under the 1966 law, even though they enlisted before it took effect. The unit from Cleveland had been ordered to active duty May 13 for two years at Ft Meade.
