Ohio Senate to vote on 21 member Children and Youth Council
A bill sponsored by Michael Maloney and Max Dennis would create a 21 member Ohio Council on Children and Youth to bridge the gap between the young and state institutions. It would include seven under 21 and 15 governor appointees with seats for health welfare youth and mental hygiene officials. The council would study needs and services for Ohio youth and advise state government. Also included are a wildlife stamp and longer temporary auto license validity awaiting House action.
