Doctor shoots intruders. girl he delivered dies

In ELKIN North Carolina AP report a 66 year old Dr N Cooke fired a shotgun at three intruders in his office early Wednesday killing Sherri Teresa Guyer 18 years after delivering her. The two male companions escaped as the girl’s father D G Guyer questioned the incident with authorities.

Ohio water haulers busy as drought drives demand

Ohio water haulers report a surge in orders from rural residents as rainfall dries up.
