Truck crash kills Garfield Street man near Springfield
A Garfield Street resident, 39 year old Robert P. Hardin, was killed when the pickup left U S 42 north of the Greene County line and struck a bridge abutment. The driver Cletis Martin, 44, was hospitalized and the crash remains under investigation. Hardin’s body was sent to Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. No charges were filed.
