U S Marines fly five CH-37 helicopters to Havasu Canyon Arizona to deliver 50 000 pounds of building materials after 1955 closure due to rot and malaria risk. The project ends an eight year layoff with students returning to class beside Havasu Creek and 37 Marines named honorary Havasupai.
