Reunion speakers set for Booker T. Washington High alumni event
Gloria Rolle of the class of 1947 and Benny L. O Berry of the class of 1937 headline the alumni reunion at Booker T. Washington High School next Tuesday at 2 pm in the auditorium. Rolle will speak on The Dawn of a New Day and O Berry on Today's Demands. Rolle is teenage and young adult director at the county YWCA in St Louis and O Berry is president and GM of Magic City Driving School in Miami. All graduates and the public are invited to attend.

Methodists Vote 140 5 To Remove Racial Barriers
In Toledo Ohio delegates from seven states of the Lexington Conference of the Methodist Church voted 140 to 5 to endorse amendments removing racial barriers. The changes target church constitutions and were proposed at the prior general conference.
