Trial court to rule on Foster case after campus mob action

Admitted on February 1 under an order from Judge Grooms, Mrs. Foster faced a mob of several hundred on February 6 at the school campus. Interracial Group Sentenced in King Hotel Case

Five of six party members were sentenced by Criminal Judge Ben l ard to one year in state prison. Delayed Integration Order to be Appealed

A federal judge denied immediate integration of Dallas public schools and the ruling will be appealed. Parents attorney W J Durham announced the appeal after Judge William H Atwell stated the Supreme Court ruling on segregation rests on modern psychological knowledge rather than law. Dr Edwin L Rippy, president of the school board, said the board will continue to work in good faith with Dallas residents of all races to serve the children’s interests.

Montgomery Alabama observers expect a federal court action to end bus segregation as a permanent injunction could take effect soon after a Washington ruling reaches Montgomery. City approves midnight curfew for juveniles

The Miami City Commission passed a curfew ordinance requiring anyone under 17 to be off streets from midnight to daylight. Violators face juvenile court actions, with parents potentially jailed up to 60 days and fined up to 500 dollars.
