Clayton Missouri AP report says St Louis County police will seek warrants charging west county farmer James Hagler with filing false police reports about airborne cattle and hog rustlers. Hagler admitted the five incidents were fabricated to target a former partner in a civil case. He also admitted firing shots into his hat and truck to back the claims.
The Senate approved a year round Daylight Time plan by 68 to 10 with a House concession for industries to adjust schedules. The measure would set 22 months of full daylight time ending Oct 1975, after which states may choose. FCC tweaks may allow early radio broadcasting.
