Sir Arthur Pearson thanks supporters for a June 24 auction at the Coal Exchange London B C that realized £100 from the doll and other items. Christine Mew from Canada helped raise funds with a plea to donate small amounts for wounded and blind veterans.

Ladies white and colored waists, silk blouses, crepe de chine, Georgette waists, and silk lace camisoles featured with discounts. Stock includes underwear, gowns, bras, hosiery, gloves, and handkerchiefs with emphasis on value and finish.
A catalog style ad lists discounts on various footwear. Men’s and boys’ overshoes and moccasins in multiple buckles and gum rubber, with 10 percent off. Women’s cloth top rubbers, kids’ shoes, and leather soles feature sale prices.
