Dominion land agents will not cancel homestead entries on Dominion lands between December 15 1918 and April 1 1818 except in special cases. Prince Albert Captured Sunday in Straw Stack
Victor Carmel and Jean Baptiste St Germain, the alleged murderers of James McKay and Corporal Horsley, were captured at 10 10 o clock Sunday morning in a straw stack on the farm of Charlee W Young six miles east of Prince Albert. They were near collapse from hunger and exposure and surrendered without a struggle after police and citizens surrounded the stack. They crawled out and were handcuffed, carrying small revolvers after discarding rifles fired on earlier. They were brought to the jail at Prince Albert and are now behind bars.
