71 Deaths in Borough of Franklin in 1926

Franklin New Jersey reports 71 deaths in 1926 with 24 nonresidents. Births total 132. Communicable diseases fell overall. typhoid fever zero cases in 1926 after 116 in 1922, pneumonia down to 17, whooping cough down slightly, measles up to 177, mumps rising to 42, scarlet fever three cases, other diseases absent.

Paul Smith Speaks at Dairy League Meeting in Middletown

Paul Smith, director and member of the executive board of the Dairymen's League, spoke to a sub-district meeting in Middletown Chamber of Commerce rooms. About fifty Orange County farmers attended as Smith outlined milk market developments and the League's benefits. A general discussion followed with Smith answering member questions.
