Municipal auction to sell police cars and surplus gear
Midlothian public works director Richard Hansen says three squad cars and a cargo van will be sold at the weekend auction. Vehicles come from 17 area communities plus seized police vehicles, with buyers ranging from taxi operators to contractors and families seeking bargains. Proceeds, after costs, go back to participating municipalities.
