Ninth Lincoln Essay Contest Promises Prizes
Area eighth graders statewide may enter the ninth annual Lincoln Essay contest sponsored by Home National Historic Site and Will County Regional Office of Education. Essays must be 500 words, on Abraham Lincoln as a Leader, with author and teacher names and school contact. Five prizes include a plaque and Lincoln book. first place to appear in The Lincoln Chronicle and Sangamon County Historical Society newsletter. Deadline December 9, 1994. Submit to George L.
